Job Title: Diesel Technician/Mechanic II

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic II to join our team at Penske. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Using advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks and repairs.
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
  • ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
