Job Overview

Medical Temporaries, Inc. is actively searching for a skilled Medical Assistant-FPH to join our dedicated team.

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE role, requiring availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant in a Family Practice setting, your contributions will be vital in ensuring exceptional patient care while adhering to all HIPAA regulations. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Taking patient vitals and medical histories
  • Assisting with medication reconciliation
  • Rooming patients and documenting in electronic health records (EHR)
  • Coordinating prescription calls to pharmacies
  • Conducting follow-up communications with patients
  • Performing EKGs, urine screenings, blood draws, and injections
  • Supporting physicians in a multi-doctor practice
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:

To be considered for the Medical Assistant-FPH position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Mandatory: Full vaccination against COVID-19
  • Mandatory: Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
  • Mandatory: Reliability and quick learning capabilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Mandatory: Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred: Experience in a Family Practice or Urgent Care environment is advantageous. A minimum of one year of experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant is a plus, though newly graduated candidates are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Starting pay of $15.00 or more, based on experience
  • Weekends off
