Position Overview:
We are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the maintenance and safety of our helicopter fleet across various locations within the organization.
This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of safety and delivering timely, quality transportation services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance services, including mechanical inspections, repairs, and provide regular updates to the Lead Technician or Regional Maintenance Manager.
- Oversee inventory checks to maintain stock levels of supplies and equipment, update the equipment tracking log, and submit replacement requests as needed.
- Accurately document service records and FAA compliance information, adhering to company policies and information security standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment for the maintenance team and flight crew.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments, vendors, and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow AMTs and the operations team.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification experience.
- Three years of experience with turbine-powered helicopters.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance systems, records, and planning.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience under CFR Parts 133, 135, and 145.
- Familiarity with EC135 helicopters.
- Experience in avionics troubleshooting and electrical repairs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work safely on scaffolding or ladders.
- Capability to stand, lie, and kneel in various positions for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 150 pounds with assistance.
- Manual dexterity and physical strength to operate tools and perform repairs.
- Exposure to loud noise levels and vibrations; may require the use of hearing protection.
- Visual acuity necessary for inspection and repair tasks.
