Job Title: Psychologist-Licensed-BSDC

We are seeking a skilled and professional Psychologist to join our team at the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services. As a Psychologist, you will be an integral part of our Developmental Disabilities Division, providing critical care to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities at the Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC).

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide direct psychological evaluation, testing, treatment, and assessments for participants supported at the BSDC and/or Developmental Disabilities. You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive psychological services, including neuropsychological and personality components to determine diagnosis for proper treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct psychological evaluation, testing, treatment, and assessments for participants supported at the BSDC and/or Developmental Disabilities.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of participants.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Must be licensed to practice psychology in the state of Nebraska.
  • A doctoral degree in psychology is required.
  • Licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Nebraska is preferred but may have a provisional license as a Psychologist.
  • Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
