POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Site Director and the Medical Director, you will provide exceptional patient care by assessing and treating individuals as prescribed by their primary care provider.

  • Conducting evaluations and treatments tailored to each patient's physical therapy requirements.
  • Creating evidence-based treatment strategies and objectives for every patient.
  • Executing prescribed physical therapy interventions with physician consent.
  • Accurately documenting all patient care activities.
  • Engaging in treatment plan evaluations and patient assessments.
  • Managing billing responsibilities efficiently.
  • Communicating care plans effectively to referral sources and payors.
  • Overseeing physical therapy services delivered by assistants and students as necessary.
  • Providing educational resources to various stakeholders.
  • Maintaining required licensing and pursuing continuing education credits.
  • Exemplifying and promoting core values of collaboration, respect, compassion, and excellence.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program and possession of a valid State of CT Physical Therapy License. A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

This role is suitable for candidates ranging from recent graduates to seasoned Physical Therapists.
