Job Title: Construction Account Manager

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Construction Account Manager to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and nurturing customer relationships, working closely with the estimating team and project managers to ensure accurate and competitive estimates, and driving business growth in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site inspections and measurements to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Utilize company databases to create precise cost estimates for roofing projects, taking into account materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing for materials and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Present estimates to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have, and providing clear and concise explanations of project details.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of bid proposals, ensuring that all necessary information is included and that proposals are presented in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Manage project workflows and document handling using company CRM software, ensuring that all projects are properly tracked and documented.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet tracking bid jobs, dollar amounts, and sold projects, providing valuable insights and data for business growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and best practices in roofing, ensuring that our team is always at the forefront of industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Provide support to project managers during the execution phase of projects, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management or sales within the roofing industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, methods, and building codes, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and thoroughness in planning and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets and data sets.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities, with the ability to interpret and apply data in a meaningful and effective manner.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
