Job Description:
Purchasing Specialists are required to source materials, equipment, and services for a 3–4-month assignment.

We offer flexible hours, 30-32 hours per week, starting in January. The ideal candidate will execute the procurement process, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring vendors meet their obligations.

The successful Purchasing Specialist will maintain positive relationships with vendors, communicate regularly, and address issues promptly. Quality control is crucial, ensuring purchased goods and services meet specified quality standards and project requirements.

A key aspect of this role is documenting procurement contracts, communications, and performance for auditing and compliance purposes.

This position requires sourcing specific items including network electronics, computers, and software.

We have specialized in supplying temporary and direct hire staffing to Rhode Island corporations since 1978, serving various industries such as banks, hospitals, manufacturing firms, colleges, professional and legal firms, and governmental agencies.
