Overview

Research Medical Center is seeking recent nursing graduates to participate in our Nurse Residency Program. This comprehensive program is designed to provide new graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment.

Program Details

The Nurse Residency Program is a 12-month program that includes:

  • Advanced clinical training in a specialty area
  • Monthly educational sessions
  • Preceptorship training with a facility preceptor
  • Measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations
  • Mentoring from experienced nurse leaders
  • Working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project

Requirements

To be eligible for the Nurse Residency Program, you must:

  • Have a current RN license in the state of Kansas
  • Be willing to commit to a 12-month program
