Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Installation and Service Technician to support our operations. This role is essential in ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of Inventory Control and Video equipment in retail environments.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Installation and Service Technician, your duties will include:
  • Installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing retail products and equipment at various customer locations.
  • Documenting service calls through computer systems, detailing products serviced, work performed, hours spent, and parts used.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of parts to ensure effective first-time fixes.
  • Training customers on the proper use of their equipment.
  • Communicating customer satisfaction levels and potential sales opportunities to management.
  • Completing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
  • An Associate degree in Electronics is preferred.
  • Certification or formal training in Electronics, Networking, or equivalent military experience may substitute for the degree.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a state security license as needed.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general PC skills.
  • A foundational understanding of electronics, with preferred experience in network device setup and programming.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
  • The capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
  • A willingness to work in various positions, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • The ability to travel and work overtime as necessary.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.
  • Confidence in working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to interpret plans, diagrams, and flow charts related to project execution.
  • Completion of company-provided basic certifications.
  • Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills in troubleshooting.
