Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Advocate, General Merchandise, Inbound to join our team. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inclusive store environment, engaging with guests to understand their needs, and resolving issues promptly and professionally. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store, receiving and processing merchandise, and operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and inclusive store environment by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly and professionally
• Engage with guests to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations and solutions
• Maintain a clean and organized store by restocking shelves, straightening up displays, and keeping the sales floor free of clutter
• Receive and process merchandise, including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and processing returns
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and gift card sales
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues quickly and fairly

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of customer service experience required
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for long periods of time required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling required
