About the Position:

The Energy Solutions Specialist will work on project teams to deliver energy conservation projects, utilizing a broad base of knowledge and skills in mechanical or electrical engineering to conduct facility energy surveys, complete utility data analysis, develop and audit energy savings calculations, develop solutions, and work with internal team members to develop sales presentations and proposals.

The Energy Solutions Specialist will develop productive working relationships with customers, as well as develop creative solutions for those customers. The Energy Solutions Specialist will be an integral part of the ongoing audit function of the Energy Services department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct facility energy surveys to identify energy-saving opportunities
  • Complete utility data analysis to develop energy savings calculations
  • Develop and audit energy savings calculations to ensure accuracy
  • Develop solutions to reduce energy consumption and costs
  • Work with internal team members to develop sales presentations and proposals
  • Develop productive working relationships with customers
  • Develop creative solutions for customers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of energy conservation principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
