Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $296,000 to $300,000, based on education, sign-on bonus, and relocation. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality outpatient and in-hospital medical care to patients, including examination, diagnosis, and treatment of common childhood ailments and minor injuries.
  • Develop, execute, and periodically review policies and procedures related to patient care, in conjunction with nurse practitioners or physician assistants.
  • Take responsibility for all activities, including accurate charting, good documentation of history, physical findings, and assessment and treatment plans.
  • Effectively communicate patients' health, nutritional, and fitness needs to guardians and keep track of seriously ill patients seen by this physician.
  • Responsible for proper case management for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Adhere to medical and administrative protocols and ethics.
  • Consult Medical Director on problems in diagnosis or management of patients.
  • Recommending patients for further treatments and specialists when needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and provide input for continuing improvement of the clinic.
  • Prescribe essential medicine to patients in connection to their treatment.
  • Perform related duties as directed by Medical Director and Clinic Administrator.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • Extensive knowledge of principles, practices, and techniques of pediatrics.
  • Considerable professional experience in pediatric medicine.
  • Must have license to practice in California, current DEA Certificate, and CPR card. Maintain adequate certification updated.
