  • Answer phones and return calls in a timely manner
  • Assist physicians during procedures
  • Prepare and date sterile kits per protocol
  • Provide discharge instruction/education to patients

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office environment
  • Prior experience in an ophthalmology office environment a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of AthenaHealth practice management software and EHR packages
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security regulations and guidelines
  • Must be aware of and comply with all OSHA standards and guidelines
