Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Certified Medication Technician to provide exceptional care to our residents in a nurturing and supportive environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications while ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines.
  • Communicate any inquiries or concerns regarding medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).
  • Report significant changes in residents' mental or physical health to the RCD.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of self-administration in the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
  • Document and notify the RCD regarding the administration of PRN medications.
  • Recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in medication administration.
  • Completion of a state-approved training course in drug administration is required.
  • Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
  • Must have a current certification as a nursing assistant or equivalent training.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
