Job Title: Certified Nurse Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Oneida Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Utica, NY.

About the Role:

As a Certified Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing residents and reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
  • Taking care of residents' personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, and other personal care tasks
  • Setting up meal trays and documenting food and fluid intake
  • Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
  • Making beds and keeping residents' spaces clean and tidy
  • Transporting residents within the facility
  • Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be able to work as a team member
  • Have completed a CNA program
  • Hold current CNA state certification
  • Be in good standing with the state registry
