Certified Nursing Assistant Adjunct Faculty Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant Adjunct Faculty to join our team at Parkland College. The successful candidate will provide high-quality instruction and mentorship to students in our Health Professions program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach part-time and advise students in the Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the healthcare industry.
- Mentor students to ensure they meet the program's academic and clinical requirements.
- Collaborate with department chairs and other faculty members to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in nursing education.
- Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Successful completion of the IDPH Train the Trainer CNA Instructor course (if ADN) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in caring for patients with Alzheimer's/dementia or completion of four CEUs in dementia education.
- Maintain all professional credentials required to teach in the area of discipline.
- Pass a criminal background check and fulfill clinical requirements.
- Ability to learn the Parkland information system and new programs as technology changes.
Parkland College offers a competitive salary range of $1,410.00 per Equated Contact Hour (ECH) commensurate with qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
