We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Experience Coordinator to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet patients and families, check them in for appointments, and communicate with them to troubleshoot and meet their needs.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Follow approved standard operating procedures to complete technical and administrative functions, such as registering patients, updating demographics, and collecting copays.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with patients, families, providers, and clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.
- Utilize Technology: Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and navigate multiple applications simultaneously to efficiently manage patient information and complete tasks.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED preferred and twelve (12) months of experience in healthcare or customer service industry, or currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program.
- Skills and Abilities: Compassion, excellent customer service skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a high-paced team environment.
