Job Overview

1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Process Support Technician to contribute to our operations. In this role, you will be an integral part of the production team, focusing on the manufacturing of masterbatch products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Material Management: Aid in the preparation, handling, and transportation of raw materials, additives, and pigments to the production zone.
  • Equipment Preparation: Assist in configuring and readying manufacturing machinery for production activities.
  • Logistics Support: Sort, manage, load, and unload both palletized and non-palletized materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Shipping Coordination: Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for dispatch.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the production process, promptly identifying and reporting any defects.
  • Batch Preparation: Assist in loading raw materials into manufacturing equipment.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep precise records of production data, including batch logs and material usage.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct inventory controls to uphold quality standards during audits.
  • Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Workplace Cleanliness: Maintain an organized and clean production area while assisting in routine equipment maintenance.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Other Duties: Be available for various shifts, maintain open communication with team leads, and uphold professional conduct and ethical standards.

Compensation: $18-20 DOE

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in extrusion, chemical manufacturing, or process-related support.
  • At least 5 years of experience in masterbatch production.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift/move up to 50 lbs, including operating a forklift.
  • Ability to read and comprehend printed materials and information on a computer screen.
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
