Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Busser. As a Busser, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all beverages are prepared to meet our quality standards, consistently delivering an exceptional experience for our guests.
  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift, ensuring seamless communication with our servers and hostesses.
  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Remove used tableware between courses, providing a clean and organized dining experience.
  • Promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths between seatings, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Check the floor and clean as required, resetting and arranging tabletops to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Clear tables after guests, taking tableware to the dish room and placing silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
  • Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes, cleaning as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicating with servers and hostesses as needed to ensure exceptional service.
  • Communicate with servers and hostesses to ensure efficient seating, table utilization, and customer service.
  • Assist servers as needed with food delivery, particularly during peak periods and for large parties.
  • Thank guests as they are leaving, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant, as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
  • Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, lift more than 20 lbs, and carry trays and stack plates.
  • Assist other FOH staff with setting up the restaurant, cleaning the restaurant, bussing tables, running food, taking food orders, making cocktails, serving guests, assisting host staff, and opening and serving wine, as needed.
  • Perform all duties while following all health department sanitation requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • No consumption of alcoholic beverages while working.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays.
