We are currently seeking both experienced and entry-level Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialists to join our team in the New Hampshire area. These specialists will work closely with a team led by the Project Foreman, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Key qualities include willingness to learn, dependability, and a strong work ethic for success in this role.

Responsibilities of a Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist include:

  • Cat-rated copper cable installation
  • Fiber optic structured cable distribution system installation
  • Pulling cable, fire stopping, dressing cables, and labeling to industry standards
  • Terminating, assembling, and installing modular connectors, coaxial connectors, and optical fiber connectors
  • Accurately testing copper and fiber cables using required certification parameters and test equipment
  • Diagnosing and correcting copper and optical fiber problems
  • Reading blueprints to determine closet and equipment layouts
  • Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels, and fiber enclosures
  • Attending training and safety meetings, working safely at all times with necessary Personal Protection Equipment

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience. This includes:

  • A $1,000 sign-on bonus
  • Starting pay between $18-$35 an hour, based on experience
  • Two weeks of paid time off (PTO) in the first year
  • Eight paid holidays per year
  • $30 monthly cell phone reimbursement
  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan after 90 days of service, with up to 4% company match

To excel as a Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist, you'll need:

  • BICSI Installer/Technician certification preferred
  • Ability to work extended hours (overtime) as needed
  • Reliable daily travel to job sites
  • Must be able to work safely following company policies and procedures
  • Valid driver's license and insurability with our auto insurance carrier during employment
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds when necessary
  • Comfortable working in open construction environments
