Job Overview:

This role is integral to our operations, providing a hybrid work environment while based out of our corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from clients, beneficiaries, financial representatives, and third parties regarding coverage, claim status, and related information.
  • Conduct thorough reviews, analyses, and investigations to determine the appropriate course of action for claims, ensuring adherence to policy coverage and limits, and authorizing payments within designated authority.
  • Engage in correspondence with financial representatives, policyholders, healthcare providers, legal professionals, and claimants, while also liaising with state insurance departments and various internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in analyzing contracts to assess eligibility.
  • Efficiently process incoming mail related to new and ongoing claims.
  • Skilled in utilizing multiple systems, including Expert system, AWD, and ClaimFacts, to gather and relay information to clients.
  • Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with both internal and external parties regarding claim requirements.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
