Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compensation Analyst to join our team at Appian Corporation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compensation concepts and practices, including benchmarking and job pricing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term strategic plans for compensation needs across Appian. This will involve creating, implementing, and maintaining Appian's job architecture and compensation structures.

The Senior Compensation Analyst will work closely with HRBPs, business leaders, and Talent Acquisition to ensure that compensation programs are aligned with business objectives. The role will also involve reviewing and evaluating job descriptions and salary offers, as well as assisting with the administration of annual bonus calculation, compensation review, and increase cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Manage compensation data and analytics to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to ensure compensation programs are aligned with business objectives
  • Review and evaluate job descriptions and salary offers to ensure equity and fairness
  • Assist with the administration of annual bonus calculation, compensation review, and increase cycles

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Compensation or related field, preferably with a global organization
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of Workday HRIS highly preferred
