Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team at Marposs Corporation. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Mazak turning centers to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program CNC Mazak Lathes from reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Set up and run Lathe applications, including soft turning, hard turning, threading, and center work (I.D. boring)
  • Inspect manufactured parts and edit programs or adjust offsets and tooling to meet print requirements
  • Understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints
  • Set up and use precision bore gages, OD snaps, micrometers, indicators, and gage block set-ups
Requirements
  • Work overtime when necessary
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts
