Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at Sisters of Charity Hospital. As a key member of our OB/GYN department, you will provide comprehensive care to pregnant and laboring women, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prenatal care, deliver patients, and perform post-partum rounds
  • First assist in cesarean sections and perform limited OB ultrasounds
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
  • Work in collaboration with the OB/Gyn Department Chairman, attending physicians, and care provider team
Requirements
  • Possess a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
  • Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife or Licensed Midwife required
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing program or Masters in Nurse Midwifery program required
  • BLS certification required
  • NRP certification required
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification required within first year of hire
Working Conditions

Varied types of pregnant patients, including active labor patients, outpatients, and patients with various complaints

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a salary of $103,938.50 USD and a shift schedule of 7:00pm to 7:00am with weekend and holiday rotation.
