Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our ICU-STEP DOWN unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a dynamic team environment. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote patient recovery and well-being.
  • Assume leadership roles as needed, including participating in unit meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a diploma or associate's degree.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Maryland.
  • AHA BLS CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
