Job Title: Financial Controller

Search Solution Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and financial functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Oversee and manage General Ledger, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet components, including reconciliations, journal entries, and physical inventories.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines for accounting and financial reports are met.
  • Audit and Tax Compliance: Prepare and coordinate the preparation of work papers for annual audits and tax returns.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting required; Master's Degree and/or CPA accreditation strongly preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of ten years of accounting experience with at least five years in a construction or manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, conventions, and standards.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • This job operates in an office and professional environment.
  • The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
