As a vital part of our interdisciplinary team, the RN is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients through effective interpersonal interactions. The RN also provides essential services that enable patients to achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patient needs through continuous evaluation and adjusting care plans as necessary based on the patient's evolving condition.
  • Providing clinical oversight to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) on a daily basis.
Qualifications and Requirements

  • Completion of a nursing diploma (associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing).
  • Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state, maintained in good standing throughout employment.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in skilled nursing.
  • CPR certification required upon hire or to be obtained during orientation, with ongoing maintenance of certification during employment.

  • Implementing and interpreting departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrating exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive demeanor towards patients.
  • Utilizing reasoning skills and sound judgment in all situations.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.
