LPN Licensed Practical Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of professionals at Life Care Center of Longmont. As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition
  • Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to CNAs
  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited LPN program
  • Currently licensed/registered in applicable State
  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
