Cardiopulmonary Educator

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiopulmonary Educator to join our team. As a Cardiopulmonary Educator, you will have the opportunity to use your clinical expertise to educate patients and their caregivers about complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Work in a highly specialized area of nursing, enjoying the autonomy that comes with working in a home care setting.
- Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
- Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as advanced computer skills, to interact with key partners.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Travel will be via car and airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed.
- Overnight travel will be approximately 50-80% of the time.
- When not visiting patients, you will work from home.
- Must live within one hour of the Indianapolis, IN airport.
- Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted multi-state license in Indiana.
- Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
- Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.
- Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.
- Have and maintain current CPR certification.
- Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs.
- Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a plus, but not required.
- Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required.
- CRNI certification is preferred, but not required.
RN Diploma, Associates, or B.S. degree in nursing.
