About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System & Network Engineer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network and system infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, as well as providing exceptional technical support to our teams. You will work closely with our engineering, platform support, and end-user teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of networking, operating systems, databases, and distributed computing. You should also be proficient in microservices architecture, cloud providers (GCP, Azure), and DevOps tools. Experience with APM tools, such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Catchpoint, and Prometheus, is also highly desirable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area
  • 4 years' experience in technology infrastructure engineering
  • Proficient in microservices architecture, cloud providers (GCP, Azure), and DevOps tools
  • Experience with APM tools, such as Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, Catchpoint, and Prometheus
  • Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, databases, and distributed computing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area
  • 2 years' experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration
  • Experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance
