This Speech Pathologist role involves evaluating and treating patients of various ages who have suffered cognitive, language disorders, swallowing problems, and oral motor disorders.
Major Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct regular assessments and document patient progress.
- Foster effective communication among patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Evaluate patients' cognitive, communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Post-graduate degree in Speech Pathology is essential.
- Experience working in a medical environment is beneficial.
- Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation certification is required.
- Licensure as a Speech Pathologist is mandatory.
