We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our National Account Underwriting Services Team as a Risk Management Associate.

The successful candidate will support our end-to-end process, follow instructions from underwriters in areas of policy rating and pricing, and review the application of mandatory policy forms in relation to accounts.

The two-year program offered in New York City, NY combines targeted coursework at Borough of Manhattan Community College with relevant in-office presence in our local NYC office.

Apprentices who successfully complete this program will be eligible for a full-time position at Zurich, Business Management with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance (BMCC NYC & all other office locations), and a Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship.

Professional work experience is not required, but applicants must be enrolled and validated as college-ready by Borough of Manhattan Community College Admissions.

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors, including office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles.

Other rewards may include short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $22.
