We are seeking a skilled Fiberglass Finishing Technician to join our team in the RJ Dougherty Associates LLC, responsible for applying coatings and finishes to boat surfaces according to specifications and industry standards.

Job Description:

  • Apply coatings, sealants, and finishes to boat surfaces using various tools and techniques.
  • Sand, polish, and buff boat surfaces to achieve smooth and flawless finishes.
  • Repair imperfections in boat surfaces, such as scratches, dents, and blemishes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Boat Building Finisher or similar role in the marine industry.
  • Proficiency in applying various coatings, sealants, and finishes to different boat surfaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
