Fiberglass Finishing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fiberglass Finishing Specialist to work on our Night Shift. This individual will be responsible for performing high-quality fiberglass finishing work on our premium offshore fishing boats.

• Apply Coatings and Finishes: Apply coatings, sealants, and finishes to boat surfaces according to specifications and industry standards.
• Sand and Polish: Sand, polish, and buff boat surfaces to achieve smooth and flawless finishes.
• Repair Imperfections: Repair imperfections in boat surfaces, such as scratches, dents, and blemishes.
• Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials.

• Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Boat Building Finisher or similar role in the marine industry (preferred)
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Demands: Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

• Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
• Overtime Pay: Eligible for overtime pay to ensure timely completion of projects

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be moderate to loud and is non-climate controlled.
