As a Speech Therapist, you will assist patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech, and communication functions through evaluation and treatment.

Our team approach to adult and pediatric therapy creates an environment that promotes engagement and collaboration. Clinicians are involved in performance improvement initiatives and have ample opportunities for continuing education hours through our Center of Expertise.

We offer a supportive environment for clinicians that is focused on professional development, with paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and a 401k plan with a $1 per $1 match on the first 5% of salary. Additionally, OSF Healthcare qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program.

Expected pay for this position is $41.57/hour, with actual pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assist patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech, and communication functions through evaluation and treatment
* Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
* Collaborate with other clinicians to ensure comprehensive care
* Participate in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education opportunities

**Requirements:**

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Respective state temporary license with the supervision of a Licensed Speech Pathologist for 18 months
* Respective state temporary license while completing Clinical Fellowship Year or respective state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Previous experience as a Speech Pathologist
* Valid state driver's license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor Vehicles driving record abstract
* Analytical ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests, conduct swallowing evaluations, evaluate patients' capabilities, develop treatment plans, and monitor patients' progress
