Responsibilities
  • Complete all required training, including:
  • Zaxby's General Manager Development Plan and Operations Excellence Capstone Class
  • Food Safety Certification and Manager Certification
  • Any additional training mandated by Zax LLC
  • Ensure the restaurant consistently delivers exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain optimal staffing levels through effective sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and recognizing top talent
  • Provide team members with comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and development while holding them accountable for their performance
  • Create efficient work schedules to drive sales and manage labor costs
  • Plan and assign shift responsibilities, clearly communicating expectations and making adjustments as necessary
  • Uphold service, product quality, and cleanliness standards consistently
  • Cultivate a positive workplace culture and high team morale by leading by example
  • Manage profitability by driving sales, controlling expenses, developing team members, and ensuring operational standards are met
  • Strive to boost sales through community engagement and outstanding service
  • Control costs and minimize losses by adhering to operational standards and compliance with all guidelines and policies
  • Conduct performance evaluations for crew members and assist in managerial evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Utilize management tools and maintain accurate records
  • Review performance metrics regularly and develop action plans to enhance systems and processes for improved profitability and guest experience
  • Additional responsibilities include:
  • Address and report guest and team member complaints or concerns promptly and respectfully
  • Maintain a flexible attitude that allows for performance beyond the standard job description
  • Ensure team safety by adhering to all safety protocols
  • Escalate issues to supervisors when necessary
  • Perform any other duties required to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Successful completion of background checks and motor vehicle reports
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Required minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience required
  • Previous restaurant management experience preferred
