Position Summary:
As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving group sales, building strong client relationships, and showcasing the unique offerings of The Wolfeboro Inn.
You will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and securing group business in both corporate and social markets while working closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and increase market share.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales with clients.
- Collaborate with the events and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful event execution.
- Maintain accurate records in the property's CRM system, including pipeline activity and account management.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and industry opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel sales, event planning, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of the New Hampshire market is a plus.
