Lead Power Systems Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Power Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team at Amentum. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical engineering, particularly in power system analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive power system analyses, including but not limited to load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, harmonic, arc flash, and relay coordination studies.
- Develop and review electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Size and specify electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and design criteria.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, project support groups, vendors, and client representatives.
- Initiate and complete engineering calculations, studies, and drawings in accordance with project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the nuclear or commercial sectors.
- Possession of a Professional Engineer license in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary facility credentials/authorization.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization.
