We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Rail Car Maintenance Technician at Titan Transportation Services. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of rail car inspection, maintenance, and preparation for loading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of railcars to identify defects and complete repairs in compliance with FRA and AAR regulations.
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks using hand tools, power tools, cutting torch, welding equipment, and job-specific gauges.
- Ensure all company guidelines and safety rules are followed when performing duties.
- Collaborate with customers and other contractors to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs made and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; no prior experience necessary, as training will be provided.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Welding experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
