PACS Imaging Technology Manager

Serves as the manager for the development, planning, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of day-to-day operations of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS / CPACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Cardiology Information Systems (CVIS), and related ancillary systems.

Provides oversight of the strategic direction and infrastructure critical to the system PACS components, system administration, and workflow. Direct supervision of Information Technology PACS resources. The primary liaison between Radiology management, Radiologist groups, customer users, and vendors. Co-chairs the organization's Imaging Steering Committee meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of Five (5) years of management experience in healthcare IS-related work
  • Seven to ten or more years of experience with management of medium to large-scale PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS) in the capacity of Senior PACS administrator
  • Change Healthcare PACS course(s) completion certification within twelve (12) months of hire date
  • Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) certification or Certified PACS System Analyst (CPSA) within twenty-four (24) months of hire date
