Position Overview:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Addiction Recovery Care, LLC, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional care to individuals battling substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vital signs and health status of clients.
- Administer prescribed medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation for insurance and medical records.
- Uphold a positive and professional demeanor towards clients and colleagues.
- Manage crisis situations with composure and support.
- Conduct drug screenings as required.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all clients.
- Comply with random drug screenings for staff.
- Follow Universal Precautions protocols.
- Schedule appointments with healthcare professionals.
- Maintain an organized medication logbook.
- Be available for on-call duties at the residential center.
- Coordinate medication refills and new prescriptions with the medical team.
- Conduct weekly inventory of medications.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in required training sessions.
- Flexibility to work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of LPN coursework.
- Valid LPN License.
- Experience in substance abuse treatment is preferred.

Additional Skills:
- Understanding of recovery principles and service systems.
- Knowledge of emergency protocols for substance-related incidents.
- Familiarity with withdrawal stages and appropriate interventions.
- Awareness of community health resources for holistic improvement.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing addiction treatment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain schedules.
- Capacity to enforce program standards and requirements.
- Skill in assessing medical emergencies and responding effectively.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations.
- Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
