We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Senior Suites Of Urbandale. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician and follow the 6 rights of medication administration.
- Assistance with Daily Living: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Interaction with Residents: Effectively interact with residents with dementia.
- Participation in Activities: Participate in resident activities.
- Leadership and Direction: Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
- Creating Meaningful Experiences: Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.
- Medication Aide Certification: Must have Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
- CPR and First Aid Certification: CPR and First Aid certification. If uncertified, may obtain certification upon hire.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience.
