We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and patient education.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with measuring, mixing, and labeling medications according to prescription orders.
  • Prepack medications for the floor and fill bottles with prescribed medications.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications and supplies.
  • Order, label, and count stock of medications, chemicals, and supplies.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform the supervisor of stock needs and shortages.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Iowa Pharmacy Technician license preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • One to three years of pharmacy technician experience in a healthcare or senior living environment.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
