Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is an integral member and leader of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices. This role emphasizes both the art and science of nursing, ensuring that care is provided in alignment with the highest professional standards.

Accountability:
Clinical Nurses are expected to adhere to the guidelines set forth by Trinity Health leadership and relevant regulatory bodies. They play a vital role in promoting the nursing profession and advancing clinical practices in line with the organization's quality objectives.

Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
2. Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.

Licensure and Certification:
1. Must possess an active nursing license in the relevant state.
2. Certification from a recognized nursing organization is preferred.
3. Membership in a professional nursing association is encouraged.
4. Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required for all inpatient care areas within a specified timeframe from hire.
5. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required for designated care areas within a specified timeframe from hire.

Experience:
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related field.
