Nursing Support Specialist

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and coordinate activities to ensure the smooth operation of our unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care and selected procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Perform activities of daily living (ADL) appropriate to the patient's condition.
- Initiate and maintain patient medical records.
- Manage communication for the unit, including placing and receiving calls from physicians and other departments.
- Assist with the admission process and provide individualized care consistent with the plan of care.
- Completion of a Medical/Surgical clinical rotation in a nursing educational program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association.
- Maintains appropriate skill level through completion of required hospital and unit-based education offerings.
