CommonSpirit Health is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Internal Medicine Physician to enhance our esteemed healthcare network.
This role is ideal for a physician who excels in a dynamic setting and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
Practice Environment:- Outpatient focus with inpatient services managed by a reputable hospitalist team.
- Comprehensive specialty support available.
- Flexible work schedule: 4 or 4.5 days per week (36 patient hours).
Technology:
- Utilization of EPIC EMR system.
- Minimal telephone call responsibilities.
- Support from a proficient team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and administrative staff.
- Collaboration with an academic institution for continuous learning opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Relocation assistance.
- Generous paid time off: 36 days annually.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance and comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Assess and manage a variety of medical conditions.
- Formulate and execute detailed treatment strategies.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and medical histories.
Effective Communication:
- Engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams in a clear and informative manner.
- Provide precise medical information.
- Promote a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare environment.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and current patient records.
- Record medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.
Diagnostic Responsibilities:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies.
- Perform necessary medical procedures.
- Work alongside specialists for advanced diagnostic assessments.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
- Offer consultative services to fellow healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement Initiatives:
- Engage in quality assurance and enhancement projects.
- Analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.
- Implement strategies to elevate patient care and safety standards.
Compliance and Ethics:
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards.
Continuous Professional Development:
- Keep informed about medical advancements and best practices.
- Engage in ongoing education and training.
- Contribute to the formulation of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in the relevant medical specialty.
