Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sanitation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage and supervise sanitation teams to ensure that all sanitation activities are carried out in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain sanitation training programs to ensure that all associates are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Manage and maintain sanitation records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. food science, environmental health, etc.) and 4+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in a dairy or beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of dairy processing, regulatory compliance, GMP, sanitation, CIP, HACCP, and GFSI certification.
  • FSMA PCQI, HACCP Manager Certification, SQF Practitioner Certification, and SQF Auditor Certification or ability to complete within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
