As a Radiology Technologist at Exemplar, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Positioning patients correctly for radiological procedures
  • Operating x-ray machines according to established protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Reviewing and evaluating images to determine quality and requiring re-takes when necessary
  • Providing clear explanations to patients regarding the procedure
  • Operating within radiological standards of care and maintaining radiology equipment
  • Documenting patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers, paramedics, and physicians to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
  • Ensuring adherence to systems and processes, and maintaining the clinical quality of services performed
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must reside within 30 minutes of the location and possess reliable transportation
  • AART permit in the state of Iowa
  • BLS Certification
  • Valid driver's license with no prior restrictions or penalties on state-issued healthcare licenses
