Residential Groundskeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Residential Groundskeeper to join our team at RKW Residential. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds and facilities of our properties are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots to a high standard.
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment perimeters daily.
• Clean the grounds and remove litter.
• Perform daily upkeep of property buildings and grounds, including cleaning and removing trash.
• Care for trees, shrubs, and flowers by watering, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and controlling weeds.
• Plant shrubs and vegetation.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to residents and staff.
• Report any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist with the inspection, repair, and installation of sprinkler systems.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose and solve maintenance issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
