About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join ABM Industries as a Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to safety hazards, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Custodial Duties: Clean and maintain buildings and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our clients and employees.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including light mechanical maintenance, to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety and Security: Respond to safety hazards and take necessary steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients and employees, including responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supply Management: Manage supplies and inventory to ensure that we have the necessary materials to perform our duties.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience: No experience required, on-the-job training provided.
  • Education: No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer-facing roles, such as retail or food service.
  • Similar Work Experience: 1 year of experience in a similar role, such as maintenance or facilities management.
